New limit for signature?

Hi,
not sure if other users face the same problem.

I wanted to remove the picture inserted in my signature, but after I removed the SIGPIC tags, I encountered an error.

The following errors occurred when this message was submitted:
Your signature can not be longer than 200 characters including BBCode markup.
Your signature contains too many lines and must be shortened. You may only have up to 3 line(s).

I only have a single line of text plus two tickers, one from lilypie another from Tickerfactory. But I see other users having multiple tickers and pictures inserted. Is this a new policy on the length of the signature?

I just realised that I was able to remove the signature picture by clicking the delete option at the bottom of the edit signature page.
But I wasn't able to save other changes to my signature text.

if it's only text how come i can't make any change now? any idea?
