Hi!
I am a 26 years old new housewife. Pre-marriage, my whole life has been planned and organized for me, so I am having some trouble with juggling grocery shopping, cooking and cleaning and 1000 other errands around the house. I was an OK cook, and I thought everything is going to be a slice of Pandan chiffon cake for me but... yea.. I had my feet in the air in less than 3 months. At the same time feeling heng that our children have yet to arrive.
BUT I'm determined to learn. I believe that a woman should be a woman. A woman's job is to not just to be independent, but more importantly, to be the silent and strong support of her husband.:wong29:
If you have any tips on how to plan and run the house smoothly. ie, how to determine how much food to buy (some foods expire so fast), how to cook 3 dishes and get them onto the table at the same time, how often should i dust, any shortcuts and money saving methods are most welcomed!
I can contribute some now:
- Grow your own herbs to cut cost and pesticides in our diet. Your RC nearby should have a veggie patch where you can plant some stuff.
- Ginger is heaty with skin on and cooling with skin off
- Yoga is one of the best forms of exercise
- Get Fluoride-Free toothpaste for your kids. Below are some links to tell you why.
