Hi All - My husband and I have recently decided to try to conceive. Happy & exciting times ahead I hope ;) Hoping to get useful information and advice in this forum.

My current worries has to do with what I should or should not be taking medication wise as I am afraid that doing so will affect the (future) fetus? I am wondering if any of you have had such issues or am I just being paranoid?

Hi KirstenQ,

Welcome onboard,

If you are currently on long term meds, it's best to discuss with the dr that prescribed you those meds.
Usually, Before a dr starts you on such meds (applicable to both long & short term), the dr will have to inform you of the pros & cons of the meds (example, you are not to get pregnant when you're on this particular med etc.)
For reassurance, you can always check with your dr, before she/he prescribe any meds for you.
