painful sex

Hi,
I tried having sex too after about 6mths and was shocked by the pain!!! Couldnt complete the act at all because it was even more painful than my first time. I was sad too. But thankfully after another few mths and after enduring pain a little each time, there is finally no more pain!!
Back then, I googled and read up, was thinking if I needed to see gynae to check if I was having a bad recovery etc. It seems like the pain is coming from the soft spot of the scar from the tear / episiotomy and looking at my personal experience, time will heal it all and get you ready for the act and number 2! I am now trying for my no. 2 as well =)
You might want to try applying lubricant and massage the perineum area to slowly help the scar soften and stretch. Good luck!!

remember to relax too as I think the pain does make us feel abit scared which will cause more pain!
Did you touch the wound area? Previously my scar was abit 3D! I was so sianz coz like so ugly and awkward.. haha but eventually seems like the scar flattened..
So i guess if you dont wanna spend the money on specialist, you can also see doc at polyclinic or GP whom you are comfortable with, just to have a quick look to ensure that recovery is okay. so long recovery is good then likely you same as me lah.. its the scarring..
