I am doing a survey on how parents motivates themselves in their children's education.
Parental involvement is an important contributor to children's positive
school outcomes.However, much less is known about the factors
that motivate parents' involvement practices.
This research aims to study these hypothesized factors on Singaporean
population. Specifically,it aims to explain different types and levels of involvement about how parents' participation in children education changes and how this is sustained across the foundation stage from
primary one to four and orientation stage from primary
five to six.
Lastly, it also aims to evaluate of the influence of parents' socioeconomic status on these factors.
