Piles and Enema Insertion

I was given the enema when I gave birth last week. Procedure is bearable not as scary as i thought.

I just lie on my left side and the nurse inserted the tube into my anus and squeezed in the liquid. Hold the liquid in for 5 mins until urge is very urgently then went to poo. Good to ensure that the rectum is cleared out so that there will be more space for the baby during pushing.

hahahah no lah. actually if i m not wrong, enema is ordered by the gynae. this is for safe precaution. you see even tho i had that, i still pass out shit during labour. aiyo! really bad experience. lucky i pass out shit before I did the actual pushing. Imagine shit and baby come out together!

Did u give birth at KK?

I think the docs and midwifes are used to seeing poo during labour right...

Thank you so much! I gave birth at Mt A. and it was quite an experience, maybe one is enough haha. Right now the episiotomy wound still hurts so i dare not poo since i delivered, almost 6 days already. When i discharged, my gynea asked me to bring home a bottle of Fleet Enema, and asked me to use it when i didn't poo for 5 days or more. It is the same type that the nurse inserted for me in the observation ward. I think i better use it today since already 6 days.

Hi to all mummies and mommies to be out there!!

I desperately need an answer, and really appreciated any mommy out there to help me!! I have an internal pile which is unluckily close to the anus opening and not an external one and I had this pile for few years. it doesn't give me any pain or itch (only slight bleeding if I got hard stool). it only come out after every pooping regardless of how soft my poops are, and after it I have to push it back if not it will get uncomfortable or pain.

anyway I went to see a specialist n she say that the only way to remove it is to have surgery to cut it off (cant even use rubber band or staple method) and she say it is totally up to me to decide (cox not severe to become MUST CUT).

Now I am trying to conceive and I don't know whether to have the surgery then conceive or not get the surgery. Cox the doc say after cutting it, it might come back during pregnancy :((((

Is there anyone out there who has similar experience with me ??? or anyone that can advise?
