pumping with cranky baby

My baby is quite cranky recently and wants me to carry all the time. I cant pump out the excessive milk and i can feel the engorement. Does any mummy faces the same problem? How do you pump out the milk when baby wants carry all the time?

I also notice a drop in my EBM recently maybe due to i did not pump out the milk.

did you tried to swaddle him to make him feel secured?

for engorgement , try the hot towel method.

sometimes i feed bb on one side and pump the other side at the same time. maybe you can try that... good thing my bb is not bothered by the pumping sound. heh..

Wow how u do it? I tired to pimp while feeding him once. I nearly spill the milk

I am alone taking care baby. Only bottle feed w Ebm, so super busy as i pump 3 hrly. Put him in yaolan when he is cranky if I need to pump milk. Other than that he sleep on the bed.

hahaha... i balance her on the brestfriend pillow...
let bb latch first, then switch on the pump and pump milk.
no more hands to scratch itchy nose or tuck away hair that is tickling you face.. heh..
and practice makes perfect!
