Recommendation of GD PD at jurong west or jurong area~

As i will be moving to Jurong West soon as we bought our flat there so i guess i really need recommendation frm mummies who r living tat area for PD as last time i always bring my kids to Rivervale Mall Kidsclinic Dr Allyson Tan since we r staying at Serangoon but since we r going to move to jurong then i need to change PD even though i haf no confident in other PD but then i haf no choice as i cant travel SO far all the way to Sengkang juz to see doc for my kids ESP when they r ill~

DOCTOR'S Name: DR. HHENG JOO TECK- He is a very nice, very patient & understanding doctor. All my 3 kids are being attended by him when there were not well and they all like him very much:Dancing_tongue:. Do avoid going for the night clinics, as from my experience it is always VERY CROWDED:eek:.

same as SAJ mummy, my 10 month old gal sees this PD too. so far, i find him quite good. very gentle with bb.. JW side not much choices for PDs.. :nah:

To me whether or nt the doc is attentive is pretty important to me so is dr heng attentive?

yalor nt much choice at jurong area. Seriously speaking i am only haf confident in my current pd at rivervale mall dr allyson tan but really no choice by the time we move to jurong west so will b too far for us.

I'm staying in Jurongwest.
well..can bring him CCK KIdslink didn't go to JE kidslink before.
but normally i bring my boy to PD before he was one. After one ,i bring him to GP <sliver cross> well.. i only look for Dr.Yeo.

You can try Singapore Paeds at Jurong West St 52 (i think).
The doctor, Dr Lau is very good but pricey. He has >30 years experience.
My daughter is always sick and he always saw her in detail and patiently.
Frankly I am very impressed with him and being in healthcare industry, its rare I am that impressed with a PD. He can see patients up to one hour just to examine them in detail.

He can diagnose my girl's condition with mere examination and no fancy equipment and can derive the same diagnosis as the KKH specialist whom I brought her to follow up on (just for second opinion).

He only takes cash and no CDA. So bring more cash if you visit him.

The nurse , Ms Tan is also friendly and helpful once you get to know her.

Dr Heng, I visit him before. Not bad and exprience, alot of time he say no problem de.. i thk he had reali see alot of condition that visit him.. he even can explain the possible cause.

Went to Kidslink at Jurong East and don't think the PD was great... The way he responded to our question is damn weak. We asked him for a certain medication, in his professional angle, which one is better and he say as there are 2 brands in the market and that's why he carry both. What a professional answer.....

I went Singapore Paeds yesterday and here is my field report:

- Dr Lau is detailed in listening the lungs and seems to be able to find the cause of illness
- Since its my first visit, so he spends a lot of time explaining the illness, possible causes and treatment
- The downside is that i feel the nurse and sometimes Dr lau seems to be abit rough/rush and not as caring/gentle to my boy
- Yes, it is expensive. The lab test for blood cost $120. My full blood test checkout don't think even will exceed $100, so he definitely markup alot there.
- Consultation is $50 which is reasonable given the time spent on my kid
- Medication cost wise i think not the cheapest, but still acceptable.
- Will be going for review in 2-3 days time, not sure what's the damage the next time
- Will i return ? for the price and if i have the time, i will probably bring my kids to KK.

reali serious ho NUH or KKH, the price is about the same. the time may also is about the same. if child age not too small (which is not smaller than 1 year old) normal GP that gt do children injection can also go.
