Renewal of Contract

Hi, can anyone share with me the procedure and full costs of renewing my helper's contract?

My helper from Philippines has been with me for 1.5yrs, her contract will ends in April 2013. I had spoken to her and she wishes to extend 2 more years. I tried to apply renewal in the MOM webby but they show that no renewal due.

The mom only renew her work permit and for you to submit her insurance & bond. You should check with your agent because if she is under your employment for less than 2yrs, she will have to apply for those exit permit, bond insurance, etc through agency (My agent did mime about 3yrs back after I have do all the research). Charges was about $250 3 years ago. Any maid agency will be able to do it for you but you still have to bring your maid to the agent there to sign doc. In short, very troublesome. My agent did it for me first time and the 2nd times I do it myself. You can go to the philippine embassy website to check, is very clear what they are charging you.
