School opens 3 Jan or 4 Jan 2011??

Hi Mommies, can I check with you, my son is attending Playgroup in 2011. Does school start on 3rd or 4th Jan??
Abit confused because before the holidays, i asked the teacher she said is 3rd Jan.. But according to other parents, they say is 4 Jan because of the PH in lieu..

Pls advise. Thanks!

I think it's best to check with the school? If you cant do so due to the weekends now, I'm more inclined to go with the teacher since she shd know best. My kids' kindergarten and primary school start school on 4 Jan though.

School re-open on 4th Jan cos !st Jan falls on Sat,so replace 1 day holiday 4 the teachers n students.

Ok thanks for the replies moms. But too bad my son wont be able to attend school for the first few days cos he is sick! Sigh.... we were so looking forward to his 1st day at school, and now Im disapointed.
