I get them too and I am at 24 weeks now. Saw a physio for it, diagnosed as left pelvic slight anterior tilt.
Got some stretching exercises to do and foam roller to release the tension.

Sciatica would mean an impingement of the disc that causes numbeness through to the legs below the knees, if you have that, please see a specialist. Are you currently expecting?

My wife got it too...I tried to help massage but no use....usually the pain goes away after a few hours but may come back again later. The Gynae saying very common as fetus expanding and pressing to the pelvic region..

Take care.

hi pinkk11, does the numbing of your arm and last finger also on your right side? What did your chiropractor diagnose that problem with? Was it link to the pelvic issues?

yup. also on right side. he said it was due to the expanding uterus pressing on sone nerves. a common problem among most of the pregnant ladies he sees.

I had that when I was pregnant. sometimes I even had problem sitting up on the bed or just walk. no choice, just lie down more, dun stand so much, wear flats, and get hubby to massage.

what did your chiropractor do? After 2 visits, the pain gone? does it come back now?
i don't really know how to describe what he did.
he was twisting me on my sides, stretching my legs and massaging the area where the pain is. also massaging my neck and shoulder to relieve my migraines.

after 2 visit i was ok already. the pain did come back but slight pain only and goes away the next day. the first visit cost mi $120, the subsequent visits $85.. i will only go back to see him if the pain is unbearable or persistent.

so far with prenatal massage every fortnight, i think i'm doing ok.
