My DD has been going to SM for 1year since she was 7mths. The method itself is good but must c your luck in getting good SM teachers and you must be hardworking to do home practice daily else it's a waste of $$$ cos the fees are quite ex.

The fees are mthly or annually? How much is it?

It's by per term of 12weeks. Weekend classes 1x a week for 12 weeks is $780 +7% GST. that sets you back $835 per 3months. Initial registration would involves registration fees, deposit, PEC classes etc so would need to pay $1k+ at the forefront.

Hi, I have registered my gal into the July intake. Total payment is sGD1300.. 1000 is the total fees and 300 deposit. Deposit is refundable if you with SM for a year.
Going to Anson Road branch.

The detail as below. I registered into Weekend course, thus pay SGD1370 upfront.

Weekday/Weekend
Term Fees : $745.00 / $780.00
Registration Fees (Annual) : $50.00 / $50.00
Parent Education Course : $170.00(1 pax)
GST 7% : $67.55 / $70.00
Subtotal : $1032.55 / $1070.00
Deposit : $300.00 / $300.00
GRAND TOTAL : $1332.55 / $1370.00

That's the term fees you need to pay when they asked if you wanna continue into the next term. 1st time payment upfront would include registration fees, deposit etc as mentioned in LayKwan's post.

I paid $290 for for Parent Education Course as both my hubby and I went for it. This is only refundable after your child has attended the classes for at least 4 terms.

Deposit can be refunded at any of the term as long as you notify them within their deadline that you are not continuing the class.

Is Shichida training really effective if you invest in $$ and time? I heard some of my friends who said some benefitted some don't.

For those kids who really benefitted, are they those that really excel in school too?

I am curious cos I have friends who invested the time and $$ but some give good comments some don't.

There is another one called genius something?? Any review on that too?
