I always hate it when my daughter is down with fever as I have to check on her at least twice in the night and work the next morning. It will be a blessing if we have understanding boss to allow us to take two to three days' of leave. Especially when we need to take non-pay leave.

It is the 3hrly interval between Brufen and Paracetamol for high fever that makes me exhausted. Once I detected that she has 37.5 degrees and let her sleep through the night with a dose of Paracetamol and she was 39.9 degrees in the morning. Very scary. So whenever she has fever, I will carry out the night shift liked she is a newborn.

I agreed...no matter how tough our life as a single parent, we must stay strong & healthy in order to take care of our kids...especially those with v young kids
