I am a paediatric dentist who gets asked many questions about teething! At my surgery I always get phone calls saying that a child is having a lot of pain and that the parent or guardian thinks the child has an infection because of a lump they can see on the gum...
99% of the time this lump ius a new tooth pushing through the gum but it is always best to check with your dentist to make sure.
