If buy, where do you get your mooncakes from ?

I used to get mooncakes from crown prince hotel.
This year will be different.
thking of getting frm Tunglok for the first time.
Anyone bought from them before?

I like the walnut pastry type of mooncake from a restaurant at PSA buiding, cant rem is it Harbour City.

For the normal mooncake, i dun hv much preference coz i oni like to eat the skin, so i usually buy lots of Piglet to eat :001_302:

The yam and pumpkin paste mooncake from Eater Palace is really good!! Not too sweet and not too 'jelak'. And the best thing is it only cost $32 for four pcs. Available at Taka and outside Isetan Scotts. Go try it!

My friend recommend Da zhong guo's red bean paste- not so sweet. Just went to buy some for tasting.

Saw J8 got black gold (pure durian) from Home's favourite; the culture's strawberry yoghurt & Intercontinental Ma Fu Yuan's mini snow skin with japanese sweet potato paste & champagne chocolate. Yummy.

i normally buy from bengawan solo, cheap and nice, can mix 4 different flavours also.

couldnt find anymore yam paste mooncake ever since park hotel replaced crown prince le.
ended up gotten myself yam paste mooncake from shi zhen.
tastes not bad too :001_302:
