Hi star1029,

I got my list frm the hospital clinic - can request.
For BABY, 1 set of clothes for baby, just go from top to bottom..{hat, mittens, booties, any clothes for baby (preferably cotton n lightweight), blanket to wrap baby in}.
For MUMMY, you can bring your own toiletries, socks, cardigan/jacket/sweater, 1 set of clothes for going home (wearing hospital clothes during stay saves a lot - no need to bring home n wash & don't have to bring too much stuff).
For DADDY, stash away some snacks for him, like chocolate bars etc. So that he doesn't go hungry n need to leave you to buy food.
DOCUMENTS - Pre-registration documents for hospital admission, marriage certificate (for birth cert registration), Baby Bonus CDA forms (all filled up & take note, there's 1 part mummy need to sign), Bank book of Mummy OR Daddy (depends CDA under whose name).
If your hospitalisation stay is covered by medical benefits, can request from nurse Nipple cream n Baby diaper cream (if not, bring your own). I recommend Medela Purelan Cream 7g (yes, this small tube is more than enough) n Egozite cream (zinc oxide content would prevent n treat rash, if any).

Diapers, maternity pads, disposable panties are usually provided by the hospital and they let u bring home the remainder upon ur discharge.

Hope this helps
Take care & May you have a smooth delivery :)

Hi, does normal hospital insurance covers maternity hospital stay? or is there a special plan for maternity?
