TTC after 6 months of caeser & baby loss

Hi all,
I am newbie here and a new loss mom. My baby angel was born on 26th july 09 when i was 30-31 weeks pg due to leaking of fluid. Baby "R" lived for 18days and grew his wings for heaven on 13th aug 09...Now i meet my gynae in KK hospital Sr. most infertility specialist for query for ttc and my menses problem..I had bleeding from 12 oct to 12 nov(sometimes spotting, heavy and light) and then started again from 23 nov with heavy flow..still going on..which she said as i have PCOS my menses are irregular so they are early...hmm ok..and about ttc she said when we are mentally prepared we can start...so we decided JAN(will be 6 months after caeser)...she gave me Clomid, Metformin & folic acid to start from Jan...

My Question is
Girls are more fertile after delivery for 1 yr..so will it increase my chances for multiples??..I am afraid of multiples because i could make only till 31 wks with singleton and also as i am ttc soon after caeser there is a risk of utrine rupture...so dont want to take the risk...what do u people suggest?

I am sorry to hear about your loss. I lost my baby at 20 weeks. How are you coping so far?

I dont really understand your question. It may be true that women are more fertile after delivery but... no one can answer you whether that would increase your chance of getting triplets. Unless your family has triplets or twin then yes, there is a chance you might have twin or triplets.

If you are afraid there will be complication, do you want to wait longer? For me, my gynae said to wait for one cycle to complete and we can go ahead to try again.

Actually I have PCOS and i m really Big almost 97 kgs...My doctor in KKH feels that i have irregular periods and so if i am ready to TTC again then i would need clomid to conceive again...I am not 100% sure of ttc from Jan ...but will try as it took 4 yrs to concieve my 1st Baby whom i lost...Also I dont have twins or supertwins in my families...for identical twins are those needed to be in genes...but Faternal twins are mostly from Infertility meds.

Coping is just hard for me as I see many pregnant women and babies around me if i step out of my house...which makes me cry everytime...so mostly i m at home doing daily chores and sleeping....i feel so weak after delivery...i feel like a old lady who has no energy at all...Yes i will wait till I have 2-3 normal cycles...hopefully 2nd Normal cycle starts on 22nd Dec. as i had 1 complete AF on 23 Nov(sorry for TMI)

This month is supposed to be my EDD, same here i feel lousy when i see babies around. But you know what, our babies are not coming back, our angels are now at a different plane watching over us, so let's be strong for them and our families and move on with our lives.

There are support groups on stillbirth and miscarraige at another motherhood forum. You should go there and chat with these mummies. They have also lost their babies, also struggling but they gain strength and comfort from one another. If you wanna talk, please feel free to pm me.

Next year is the year of tiger. Stay positive, we will soon hear Tiger babies ROAR.

I am there on few other forums like fertilethoughts dot com which is really helpful in all way...but mostly they are US ladies and we cant know better treatments and dr. available in SG...Can i ask u , which dr do u go and how is she/he...I goto Dr. Sadhana Nardhraja in KKH ...a very good Doctor and well experienced but here in SG Dr. has to follow rules & guidlines

I was from KKH too, gynae is KT Tan a senior consultant. Go to another motherhood forum, there are a few ladies seeing Dr Sadhana Nardhraja. Government hospital very systematic, if you go private, they will scan and thorough check during every check up. When my baby was diagnosed with spina bifida, i went to Ann Tan@paragon to seek a second opinion before we decide to end the pregnancy. Dr Ann Tan is very costly but her scan machine 4D is very awesome. She managed high risk pregnancy.
