my baby's umbilical cord fall off 3 days ago, but there're still some dried up bits attached on the naval as i dun dare to peel it off..
after falling off, it leaves abit of blood at the naval..i continue to appl the powder that my pd gave to me, and the blood dried up..
nw i found that there's pus at the naval area, but it's only a tiny bit..is it normal for the naval to have blood an pus after the cord falls off?

It means it is still infected. Keep applying the powder. It will go away in another week. Remember to keep his belly button dry and clean

can we get the powder in any pharmacy? whats the name of it?
my baby is also having the same thing..i tried asking the poly doctor for some prescription, but he jus asked me to wipe the belly button with wet cloth.
