Weaning Baby Off Latching Directly

Hi Mummies

I've been direct latching on baby since birth. Is there any ways to intro him bottle feeding.. =( He refuses bottle totally kept screaming n screaming whenever he sees the bottle... *sigh* Pls help

*sighs* its a very painful process to hear the screams of my son =( coz hubby wants to play his part as a daddy and have the bond of feeding him too

frankly speaking... no idea... try and give the bottle when baby is happy?

DS1 took the bottle rather smoothly (well, i did have to leave the house before he would) at about 5 mths. DD never took the bottle! until she self weaned at 13 mths and switched to fm. DS2... well, he's never had a reason to want the bottle. But he also took fm at about the 18mth mark (copy Jie Jie wat!) with no problems.

i read from somewhere also that babies are very smart n they can sense their mummy's presence, so you may have to leave de house n let your hubby bottlefeed him.
