Perhaps it is time to improve on the link. For example, some users are not aware and just click on the links which give them missing/ broken links. This is because it is always reflected in this manner. They probably tried many times and cannot get it. They may think it is the person who sent the wrong link.
Maybe the moderator/ web administrator can do something about this?

Why not underline all the way? Then, no matter, CLICKING or COPY AND PASTE will always work?
