When should i start to look for childcare?

bb is turning 12 months soon. Thinking of letting her join a playgroup when she turns 18 months.
just wondering when do i have to start applying for working mother subsidy and the playgroup?

You should look around for a PG now and sign up soon as some places have waiting lists or are hot so vacancies are few.

As for working mother subsidy, you have to fill up a form once you confirm your place with the school and submit your payslip or CPF contribution.

Hi, if I'm not wrong, this Kinderland that you mentioned which is under renovation will be used for infant care in future.
You should check the one that is next to that cos that centre is for 18months and above.

From what I know, after subsidy for working mother, the monthly fee is about $640.

Not sure if u can find a "Touch Child Care Centre" near your area as after subsidy only $250 (that's what I am paying for a full day session). u can check out their website : TOUCH Child Care | TOUCH Community Services
