Where did you get the herbs for your confinement period?

Hi all mummies, as this is my 1st pregnancy, thus am wondering, where do you guys buy all the herbal packs for bathing and the herbs for your confinement food? Any recommendations to get the herbs at a cheaper price?

I got mine at FU LU SHOU basement. The shop is opposite the gold jewellery shop.

They have all the things you need. They even have a list of herbs to be taken after birth and the longan drink that you take during confinement. You dun have to buy everything if you dun need it.

They also sell the bath packets for bathing.

Yes, dun need to boil the herbs. But still hv to boil water to shower, even the rm temperature water also need to boil b4 use. Sigh

i dun really take herbs during confinement cos i was alrdy too heaty. haha. anw my mum bought those neccesary stuffs from Hock Hua. and the herbal bath thingy also. 1 pkt $2, just boil with water will do. very clean, dun have those herbal black thingy flowing out at all. =)

Ohhh... Ok... Cos I used to hear from my ex-colleagues about going to HongKong Street to buy the stuffs, but not sure if the prices are same as those medical halls... So thought of asking around...

Just like to share I bought my confinement herbs from '龍马' (Dragon Horse) at Bugis - Blk 270 Queen St #03-50 (Albert Centre), S180270. Acc to my friends the price is reasonable and the confinement nanny also say the herbs quality quite good. The shop is crowded during the weekend.
