I've personally used a few brands. Here's a breakdown

Pampers - Good absorbancy, thin and light, soft. So I assume it'll be comfy for baby. Downside is that they're expensive. About $0.45 per piece

Nepia - Has an indicator like Pampers but absorbancy is not as good. The cut is bigger so if your baby is big, you can try this brand. It's also sold in NTUC though I bought a carton that time from their online site and it was delivered to my doorstep. About $0.25 per piece if order online.

Huggies Ultra - Really prevents nappy rash. Expensive. Very good absorbancy, thick and soft. My boy loved this one. We used it when he was NB because he has very sensitive skin

Huggies Dry Comfort - Good absorbancy. Wait for promotion to buy. Usually promotion is at Cold Storage and Shop N Save where they sell 2 packs for $31+.

If you need a bigger cutting, you can also try Huggies Pull-ups. Their cutting is slightly bigger and it's stretchable at the sides.

For any brand of diapers, if your child has a lot of pee and poo, you'll have to change it frequently. As long as the maximum absorbancy is reached, any brand of diaper would leak.

100%

Alpha Male
Only used 3 brands so far

Drypers - We actually found QC not that good when 1,2 pieces doesn't stick
Huggies - Leaking and thick compared to pampers
Pampers - so far best but more expensives

We'll try mamy poko when pampers finished.. coz too expensive to substain.

If its NB or S size, i think fitti premium is a very gd choice! thomson medical is using.. polyclinic also having promo now, 1 pack at $14.90, buy 2 get 1 free...

If its M size and above, I think huggies dry and dry comfort is gd and cheap.. there is always bulk purchase on these too.. i always buy abt $16 per pack...

Agree with regine on pampers active. Another brand would be mamypoko. :001_302:

U can actually look out for Pampers Promotion. It's really a big deal savings when you buy at tt time in bulk of different sizes to cater to your growing baby. Just 2 days back, my DH just bought Pampers Active L size from Guardian for 26+, UP is 31.30!

ds's size suit huggies ultra best! out of all diapers! just tt i feel that huggies ultra is abit thick thus change to pampers.. mayb u can try tt? or Nepia, Nepis also good for ds's thigh. but if given a choice, i will choose pampers or huggies ultra =)

if ur baby has big thighs pls dont let him try petpet though petpet is v good, but the thigh there cutting dont suit big thighs babies.

Hi Faith, my baby has big thighs too! I use Huggies Dry comfort. But he recently changed to L size for a going-to-4-month-old baby. I think it economical and good. when he NB i use pampers, but maybe because it 'breathable', after he pee when have urine smell though diaper not very big. so me and hubby don't like. so we switch to huggies. but huggies is thicker so when you pack in your bag, it takes up abit more space. haven't try mammypoko though.
