you shouldnt be worry about the charges but whether her quota has met :tlaugh: she will stop accepting patient when hit the quota for the EDD month

Yeah First 12 weeks got to pay ard $100 each time, after the 12 weeks u can purchase a package of $668 ard there, then it covers till the 40 weeks, but this package does not include the medications you purchase or any additional stuffs you wanna do... That's for the visits. Delivery and staying in hospital is different charges, but that you can pay by medisave

Hi my gynae that time is Dr Irene Chua frm TPS @ KKH.....her charges are abt S$60plus cos' she is a senior consultant

She is v friendly and willing to answer most of your questions when ask.

my gynae is Dr LN Sim at TMC. she is v good and patient. will not recommend unnecessary tests or supplement, only recommend what u nd. she has package, $700 from 12 week preg onwards include mthly checkup until u give birth, routine urine test, scan. but NOT include any supplements. but supplements is cheap. =)

until 5 mth i think abit too late lehh. for me, i started seeing gynae the moment i knew i was preg (ard 4week)... but some ppl only see gynae when they r 8week onwards cos by then can detect heaertbeat alrdy.

hmm, my gp got the ultrascan equip that why she told me to see her till 5th mth. really to late to see gynae at 5th mth??
ultrascan can detect heartbeat/gender etc right?

I agree with apollo mummy....you should see the gynae soonest if you can, cos' gynaes can give your proper advise as to your pregnancy....

Yes those scanning machine can detect what is inside your tummy, but don't think can detect heartbeat if I am not wrong

i noe. my family doc also has the ultrasound machine but i personally feel tt a gynae is more specialist on pregnancy so i will choose to go to a gynae as soon as i found out i'm preg =)
