1: Sweat
During delivery, new mommies’ cervix will open to let baby out, in the same time, rest parts of body bones will also have more or less loosening, most of them could not be fully closed to the level same with before pregnant– that is why many times you will find your shoes are smaller after delivery, even though you weight may not rise in number. Same with bones and cervix, the pores in the body will also open up.

After delivery, new mommy’s body is in critical recovery stage. Such opened/loosen bone and pores are good for mommy to quickly recover by sweating away extra fluids/chemicals, but also have higher chance to bring bad impact into recovery, if the new mommy is not taking care from wind. Everything is in your hands.

Now, Body automatically function to recover, sweat and urine are the most natural detoxify solutions by body. Through sweat and urine, the extra liquid will be removed from body, together with certain elements or chemicals that are not wanted by body. So, it is common phenomena that the new mommy is sweating like showering, while other people in the house just feel the temperature is perfectly normal. The opened bone joints and pores are helping this process by providing the convenient path. While, it also make the possible entrance for coolness enter the body if you are not taking good care by stay or exposed to cool agents like air or water.

It is not very comfortable to sweat so much, especially when you cannot freely take shower. But remember it is good recovery phenomena by your body, you are showering away the unwanted liquids from your body, so, do not feel too irritated, or immediately take air-con or direct fan. What you need to do is to relax yourself and cherish such natural detoxify response by your body, wipe your sweat by a dry tower, and change another dress.

Some new mommy like to stay in cool room, so rarely sweat, they should drink some warm soups or do some exercise to create such sweating chance, because After several weeks of confinement, the opened joints and pores will be closed again, you can not easily detoxify any more even with harder exercise.

坐月子的时间
原则上子宫与身体其他器官的恢复需要6~8周,但由于每位产妇的体质都不尽相同,所以坐月子的长短可依据实际情况来定,如果6-8周后仍有不适症状,那么建议产妇将坐月子的时间延长,直到身体恢复如常为止。

举止与行动

1:产妇若持久仰卧,可引起子宫后位,出现经常腰骶酸痛的症状。适当的活动,有利于子宫的复原和排出恶露;促进血液循环,减少盆腔及下肢血管血栓形成;有利于促进肠蠕动,调整排便功能,防止便秘,促进消化功能,改善食欲。产妇产后第一次下床如厕或走运时,要有人陪伴,以防因体虚眩晕而摔倒,而且站立不要太久。

2: 1周后,如果天气晴朗,可到室外呼吸新鲜空气,晒晒太阳,使人心情舒畅,促使早日复原,但要避免在气温过低,刮风下雨的天气出去,还应注意防止过度疲劳和着凉,要量力而行,渐渐增加外出的次数和时间。

3: 不可抱小孩,坐月子期间要避免弯腰,不可以抱小孩,尤其是从床上抱起宝宝或喂奶时应特别注意,可请家人代为抱起,以免肌腱受伤或腰酸背痛。另外,喂奶时最好躺着喂或侧身来喂。

4: 忌提重物,产后关节肌腱松驰,支撑力不佳,因此不可以提重物、站立太久或爬楼梯。否则易使肌腱受损伤、内脏下垂,还会导致腰酸背痛。

5: 不直蹲,避免因此增加腹压造成子宫下垂。

6: 如厕时最好采用马桶式,不能采用蹲式。便便时不可特别用力,以免造成脱肛。

放松与休息
只有充分的放松与休息才能有充足的能量和体力,有充足的内在能量,才能顺利地将体内毒素排出及强壮内脏。因此,产后至少要卧床休息两周,因为怀孕时子宫被胎儿撑得很大,生产后子宫就变得松松垮垮,产后两周是子宫收缩最重要的时期,如果产妇不停地坐起来或下床走动,可能会造成子宫收缩不良,引起下垂,所以这时候吃饭及上厕所外,其余时间不分昼夜,都应卧床休息。

环境与条件
1:产后因气血皆虚,肌肤松驰,全身的毛细孔均易张开,因此,绝对不能吹到风,不论是冷风或是热风,毛细孔会马上收缩,容易引起头痛、感冒、筋骨酸痛、内脏疾病等问题。因此,产妇的卧室应是冬天温暖,夏天阴凉,并经常保持室内空气新鲜,才有利天休息。室内的温度要适宜恒定。

2: 产妇分娩后身体虚弱,需要新鲜空气。无论是产妇还是婴儿,都需要阳光的照射;只有在阳光照射下,身体才会正常发育。如果把屋子捂得严,整日不见阳光,会使产妇和婴儿的身体健康爱受损,是极为不利的。不过在睡眠时,房间的光线不能太亮,最好只开小灯泡,并采用深色窗帘。

3:产后身体较虚,体温较低,故应注意保暖。内裤要天天换洗,以防感染,内裤以浅色为好,便于观察分泌物。脚下穿布鞋为好。

使用腹带防止内脏下垂
产后妇女腹部肌肉及连接内脏的韧带变得十分松弛,这时你要注意防止你的内脏下垂和小腹突出的问题了。比较有效的办法是绑腹带。绑腹带具有调整体型、预防内脏下垂及促进子宫收缩、消除妊娠纹之功效,现时还能使腹部保暖。一般要从产后第一天绑上腹带(剖腹可从第三天开始,可将伤口包扎处也裹进腹带,不可过于用力),直到月子结束。

缠腹时的正确方法
仰躺在床上,两手放在下腹部,由下向上将小腹向”心脏”方向按摩”抱高”, 将纱布带从腰腹部开始缠绕.一般白天要缠上,晚上睡觉时要松掉拆下。
腹带不可绑缠过紧,以免引起经血倒流,恶露不止。所以建议选用宽大,但是有些许弹性的腹带。

月子里的眼睛养护
1: 产褥早期不宜多看书或织毛活,身体各方面恢复好以后可以量力而行,以不影响视力休息和不引起疲劳为限。
2: 另外如果坐月子期间哭泣的话,眼睛会提前老化,甚至会演变为白内障、青光眼,所以在坐月子时期间 ,绝对不对哭。如果你在坐月子期间因患忧郁哭泣的话,那就多吃些养肝汤来作补救吧。

月子里的睡眠
1: 保持充足睡眠:产后睡眠不中会使妈妈身俱疲,母乳分泌减少,照顾宝宝的本能及使命感会因身体无法负荷,而产生慢性压力,造成育儿神经病或产后忧郁症。
2: 妈妈若因为睡眠不足和压力增大,使乳汁分泌不顺,宝宝会因为乳汁不足而每隔1-2小时醒来一次,造成恶性循环。在产后3-4周之内可采取这种轮流喂奶的方式,随着宝宝的日渐长大,睡眠时间会拉长到4-5小时,妈妈就有能力可以独立照顾。

卧床休息的方法
产妇由于某身体虚弱,气血不足,产前子宫、脏器、隔肌发生位移。因此卧床休息必须要讲究姿势和方法。
中国古代对产后妇女的卧床姿势及其养神方法有着一整套的方法与步骤:即分娩完毕,不能立即上床睡卧,应先闭上养神,稍坐片ke,再上床背靠被褥睡眠,竖足曲膝,呈半坐卧状态,不可骤然倒而平卧。如此半坐卧3日(指白天)后,才能平卧,若仰卧、侧卧皆可。
其闭上养神的目的在于消除分娩时的紧张情绪,安定神志,解除疲劳;半坐卧目的在于气血下行,气机下达,有利于排除恶露,使隔肌下降,使子宫及脏器恢复到原来位置。
在半坐卧的同时,还须用手轻轻揉按腹部,方法是以两手掌从心下擀至脐部,在脐部停留 做旋转式揉片ke,再下擀至小腹,又做'旋转式揉按,揉按的时间应比在脐部稍长。如此反复下擀,揉按10多次,每日2-3次,这可使恶露、淤血不停滞在腹中,还可避免产后腹痛,产后子宫出血,帮助子宫复旧。
清代养生家尤乘说:产后上床,只宜闭上静养,勿令熟睡。这就是说产后不可立即上床熟睡,应先闭上养神。

卧床姿势
产后睡觉宜平躺、侧躺轮流替换,因长时间平躺易造成子宫的后屈、下垂。
从产后第2天开始可做俯卧,每天1-2次每次15-20分钟。产后2周可做胸膝卧位,利于子宫复位并以防后倾。
对于产后身体较为虚弱的妈咪,最初的两周,最好是用药水以擦澡的方式来清洁身体,第三周后再进行淋浴,但注意不要感冒,满月后方可泡澡。如早期可用烧开的水和米酒各半,加入10克的盐,掺和着成为洗澡水,用毛帽沾湿、扭干后由家人帮忙擦拭肚子,或其他流汗的地方。早、中、晚各1次。1天3次。洗澡时间:夏天产后3天便可擦洗。
如果产妇是剖腹产,而且采用的是皮肤横切口,皮下缝合方式,那么淋浴的水是绝对不 进入伤口内的。

thanks for sharing!

i was really sweating like showering during the 1st 3 weeks of my confinement.. but i'm happy with that coz by the end of my confinement, 10kgs are gone just like that.. i didn't even go on diet or wat..
