Hi all mummy, my baby is 10 days old. The day when I bring my baby home I find that she alway doing action like forcing something out and making a lot of noises but she didn't cry but if she do this, everytime when I feed her milk, she will vomit a bit out cos she alway doing this action. Only when she sleep then she won't. My mum say is normal. Is it normal? Do any mummies experience this? She will do this until her face turns red too. Btw may I knw what is fart or reguitiate? Sori dun knw hw to spell

It's very normal de. Don't have to worry.
My darling girl did that during the 1st month too. Sometimes is just a way of the baby stretching.

it is NTH to do with FM. every newborn babies are lik that. even u change FM, she also will behaves lik this. ds also lik tt. even when he was slping also will stretch until his face was very red.
some mummies might reco u to swaddle ur baby when she is slping, to give her some security, u can try it. but i personally did not swaddle ds once he reached one week old cos i feel that he shd hav his limbs out to 'exercise', do some stretching. haha! :tlaugh:

I myself also worry my newborn.. overall is same pattern as ur newborn .. Making those mmmm Sound then like push shit like tat, make until whole face turn red alrd . Day time can slp but when reach nigh about 3+ wake up for milk then cant slp back alrd.. = =" Tat make mi headache lo..

Dun worry, it's very normal. For the 1st 3 months they will stretch alot and will LS too.

Hi all mummy need help again. My baby can't sleep soundly at nite dun knw why? Actually she in her sleep but at the same time she like to make noises and stretching. I dun knw whether to ignore it or what can I do? So tired since coming bk from hospital and oso she didn't poo everyday nw is the 3rd day she haven't poo but she is drinking milk a lot. Is it allrite?

I guess all newborn have same problem.. Cos mine also same.. Cant slp @ nigh about 3am or 4am after feeds.. Keep making those mmmm Sound or push very hard till face red .. But mine newborn is on Breastfeeding .. Some time time I give formula .. My newborn Poi 2 day 1 time..
So what u do if she nt sleeping? U ignore it? I guess cos she feed on formula milk that why can't poo everyday.cos she got high jaundice that why my peditrician advice me formula and breastmilk together but my milk supply nt enough. think got to change formula milk. Any mummies got good recommendation for milk? Heard that similac can cause constipation, my girl nw is drinking this.

Is your BB still have the jaundice now ? Please monitor the jaundice very closely . Do not take it lightly . Must remenber to go for morning sun and take blood test regularly.
My BB have high jaundice and it persist for very long (more than 3 months )and in the end we are refer to a KK liver specialist .
Must sure she remain hydrated as Jaundice baby tend to be very tired and fall asleep while feeding . Stools must be yellow (the more yellow the better ) and urine color not yellowish . This information is being pass to us by the liver specialist to monitor .
My BB drink breastmilk combi with formula also . But poo like 4-6 times a day last time.
She drink Mamex Gold Step 1 . Not sure if this is good formula but others mummies comment that must try and error to get the right brand suitable for the baby . Since you think Similac is causing the consipation then switch another brand . Buy a small tin first.

personally i dont feel that FM can cause constipation. pin has been on FM since day 1 n she only had constipation when she started on solids. n she pooed a few times a day when she was arnd tt age.
demand= milk supply. the more you latch your baby on, the more milk u hv. its a nature thingy. if not, try pumping if u r not latching her on. n it's only been arbt 2 weeks. be patient, it will come, but u just need to work harder in pumping/latching.
for babies this age, it is common that they r awake at weird timings, bcos they do not know day n night yet. for me, i will just pat pin to slp, which she usually will fall aslp after awhile, but it is okay to ignore n let her lie in her cot if u want to, sometimes i do that when she doesnt show any sign of falling aslp after 30 mins of patting.

I juz pat him to slp lo.. Some time i put him on my body cos gt mummy smell ^^ then pamper him few min see wher he gt cry anot if nt i out him back bed then conti pat him.. @ 1st my Brest milk also nt enoug wan in hospital i pump less than 30ML but nw i can pump to 50ML - 80ML ( Depend ) Latch more so ur milk will increse tat wat u hear from other mum .. As for similac , in hospita nurse give my newborn similac but he can poi lei.. Im usin NAN nw ..
** My mum buy mi papaya / Banana to eat everyday so when i Breastfeed my baby , they easy poi as well .. Mayb u try .. Either U latch or pump abit ..:wong19:

babe, fyi, banana will cause constipation and not prevent, dun eat too much horr.. but papaya, kiwi, dragonfruits are good for digestion :tlaugh:
