which paediatrician is your child visiting?

I used to bring my kids to Dr Agnes Tay at Jurong Point. Not that she is good, only because she was the only PD within walking distance from my flat. I don't really like her. There was once my girl high fever for 4 days, went to see her, she said nothing wrong, no medicine given at all. Now she has moved to Jurong East. Not going to see her again.

There was a time when my kids had bronchitis and saw many PDs also no use. Finally I brought them to see Dr Tan Kay Soon at Mt Alvernia hospital. He is good at treating bronchitis.

Now I bring my kids to see GP My family clinic at Pioneer Mall(Jurong West). Dr Gwee is very very nice. Her medication is quite effective at treating coughs too, don't need to use nebulizer.

Another GP I like is Dr Tan Poh Kiang at PJ Clinic(Beo Crescent). But he is very popular, especially on Mondays where there is usually a very long queue, impossible to see him. Dr Tan is good for both adults and kids. I know many people moved far far away, still come back to see him. His fees are reasonable, I think his pneumococcal jab is one of the cheapest.

Hi,

For me, I see Dr Heng Joo Teck too, my daughter likes him alot, so she is very guai when we visit him. I feel that he always try to play with my daughter and make her feel at ease. She is even willing to lie down for 15 mins when he scan her.

actualli, i dun have a PD which we go to lei...i dun like e PD tt checked my boi at hospital cos he made a mountain out of a molehill n got me n hb so worried my hb cried every night in his sleep....

turn out it is nothing, no problem....n to tink e PD even suggested surgery n physiotheraphy!!!

anyway, me n hb r KS parents....every small little thing, we will rush him to e GP downstairs....Dr Ang....she sees alot of babies, has medications specially for babies stocked up in her clinic....she see me since i was a baby :)
but all e trips so far r KS trips with medication given, but no instructions to give e medication...hahahaha...meaning she will tell us IF this get worse, then u give this medicine....if no problems, u keep e medicine in e fridge for emergency :p

end up nvr given my boi any of e medicine b4...

n we go polyclinic for jabs...cheaper n now they got 5-in-1 n 6-in-1 also...
n if u got make appt n reach on time, it is actualli FASTER than GP or PD!!

My son also seeing Dr Low but everytime we never exceeded $60 leh. (Average abt $50 plus) How come yours so ex?

Last time we used to bring him to see Dr Ang (male PD) at TMC. Other than the long wait, each time the fees came up close to $100 bucks so we switched to Dr Low.

I remember 2 yrs back when I saw Dr Low the 1st time, his clinic was always empty and there was no appt needed. But now it seems he is quite popular.

Aglow Baby & Child Specialist Clinic

United Square.

Dr Ong W.H

Recommanded to him by my gynae. He's a nice and responsible pd. Will make the effort to call me and hb daily at 8am to inform us abt ds condition while he's in hospital due to jaundice. And told us not to worry. :)
