Oh your purogon is so much cheaper than mine .. I'm paying $392 / vial of 300iu with supposedly 400iu
My scans are $20 and consultation $68 each time.
Do you pay consultation each time you visit or is it on a per IUI cycle so u pay just once for scans and consult?

I pay consultation fee every scan only.. I had two scans only per IUI..she usually see me on my 6th day for scan to check the eggs, then next is on 9th day... then she'll schedule my IUI based on my +opk, then trigger shot same day of +opk.. then IUI after 36 hours... on IUI itself, no consultation fee is charged.. 
Then she'll sked for blood test and appointment after two weeks of IUI.. every appointment, I pay consultation fee.. except for IUI itself..

I m not a singaporean, so no medisave.. My company will re-imburse a meagre sum for only one - either IUI or IVF.. ( 1.2K for IUI and 3K for IVF).. So I have to chose right doctor the right method.. I asked my doc, why not IVF directly, he said we'll try IUI 1-2 times as it is more natural..

7k is too expensive.. I've spent only $1.8k plus for my 1st iui (75iu), then I'm now on my 2nd iui, $1.8k plus also (75iu>100iu) with scans and consultation already.. It's at Raffles Hospital, I'm seeing Dr. Sheila Loh, fertility specialist.. she told me before estimate cost is $2.5k.. But we only spent $1.8k.. You can just call Raffles and ask for an appointment with Dr. Sheila Loh so could start your iui right away..of course, some pre-checks are needed like bloodtest, HSG, etc.. Baby dust to us!!

how do I claim iui from mediasave?
you will need to cash out first.. then at the end of iui.. you can ask for medisave form to sign.. then you will receive a check in a few weeks for reimbursement.. Do you prefer Dr. loh form KKH? Where is he now? I heard that he's no longer in KKH in a few weeks..but he's really good iui/ivf specialist.. so go for him..

oh, that's sad.. try Dr. Loh from KKH, not sure if he'll be transferred to THompson.. or you can set an appointment to Dr Sheila from Raffles, then try TCM (Dr. Su) while waiting.. I saw it from one of the forum here "Tips for you" forum..I called Raffles, no apt for Dr.Sheila Loh until April
Thank you! The time passes very fast one. Soon it will be your turn. Meanwhile tone up your health and body before the FET starts ok? I hope there will be some good news. Otherwise I will stop a while before I start the next IVF coz it costs a BOMB.
I'm given pregnyl to jab tonight but i forgot to ask where i should do it .. anyone of you gave yourself pregnyl jabs? on the tummy too? sigh .. i'm so used to kk ivf centre doing all these for us that i am just not used to this .. and the sperm retrieval has to be done at novena medical centre on the morning of IUI too .. jeez ..

It's supposed to be jabbed on your bum .... More towards the side (closer towards the hip )rather than in the centre ... It is supposed to be injected into your muscle. Do not inject over your hip!
Sorry .. Too late to tell u this but u may already know by now .... U can go to Thomson 24hr clinic and the nurse there can do it for u. Not sure if they will do it for u if u walk in with the medicine in your hand ....
yay! my 2WW begins today! I had my IUI done this afternoon! everyone at home is very positive but I'm really not sure. Given the low success rate of SO-IUI, i don dare to keep my hopes high, can only pray for the best. i calculated and to date, my total cost for my SO-IUI is $2.8K
