i oso have been using tis A1 curry paste but i tink the paste kinda different from last time.. or mayb my cooking standard drops?!?... any other brands?

Try the " FU QI PAI " (Husband n Wife Brand) green packing, recommended by the chicken seller at the wet market. Very nice n not as spicy as A1. My kids enjoy it too.

I personnally feel "A1" Brand is not bad. Just have to add coconut milk or evporated milk will do. Simmer abit... and there a nice smell of fragrance curry. Sedap.

A1 Brand is the best!
If you want it healthy add low fat milk. Want it thick & more fragrance use fresh coconut juice instead of packet one.
Always fry the shallots, chicken, potatoes, lemon grass together with the paste first for at least 5mins before adding the water. Boil it then simmer down the fire.
Milk or coconut juice will be the last to add in once the chicken is cooked.

which A1 brand r u giys referring to? i always use the orange packaging one.. is somewhat like paste type.. i saw another type of A1 curry mix sold in supermarkets.. is tat the one your say very gd?
