BTW my C-scar was ok and I recovered remarkably well, even my friends relatives were amazed that I wasn't in pain.. I attribute part of that to his skilful cutting as well. After going home, I only ate 2 pills of painkillers and then I felt I didn't need that anymore.

yea. i started walking on my 3rd post op day and my wound was bery well healed by 1wk. he is bery assuring. sad that he is leaving kkh. can no longer see hin for my no 2 liao...

If I had a choice again, I will go to doctor wee.

My gynae was Lawrence Ang. He is passable as I was the least complicated case and I had no idea what was happening. but not as assuring as Dr wee.

But I remember for my very first scan, I went to dr wee and he was very assuring. He took time to explain things even when I had no question (who knows what to ask man. It was my first)

But I didn't go to him cos he didn't have a package. Plus we woman always prefer package...sooo.. lol.

I read he has a clinic now in Novena. If Got second one I sure try him out.

my girl was delivered by him but i didnt had a good experience with him. i was suppose to be with another gynae but i was admitted immediately due to low waterbag level and my gynae was OVERSEAS! so i was referred to Dr Wee. so the first time i see him, he is going to deliver for me.
he get the nurse to induce for me. but apparently, it doesnt work. and he ask the nurse to induce again. after 33 hours of pain and waiting, i dilated for only 1 cm! he asked the nurse to induce again via phone but i refused. i asked for C sect coz 33hours of waiting is pretty stressful for me. he came and deliver for me after i insisted for c Sect.
my scar is HORRIBLE! freaking thick and ugly and bulging out. it looks like a caterpillar to me.
im having my #2 now and nope, im not going back to him and changed my gynae to Dr Irene Chua at gleneagles now.

overall, you have to feel comfortable with your chosen gynae.

Hi.. I agreed with andieluv2. The healing I guess depends on individual. I had the same situation, my gynae left oversea so he took over. He immediately explain I need to be admitted due to low water level and I was overdue for a week. So was admitted on a fri evening. So I was induced with no pain, till the second.. I had high heart beat when they check on me. Dr Wee personally came to check and talk to me while in the delivery suite. He even called specialist regarding my case as it is a rare case. Slowly the pain came about 2hrs after it. The worst was came after 2hrs and in 1hr+. I give birth with ease without epidural. I don't even feel or know he cut me and stitch me with no pain. He came back to check on me when I am at the ward. After mths of fully recovery, no scars at all. So overall, he is good. Definitely recommend him as gynae.
