Anyone TTC by IUI?

Hi All

Am married for 7 yrs and trying to conceive but failed. on feb 09 i went for my first IUI and failed but i continue my 2nd IUI on march 09 and i strike now am 8 weeks preggy

am writing to encourage all do not give up.

Wow congrats!
I just did my 1st IUI yesterday..now on 2ww...
So how did u manage to get BFP? Can share what was your condition that leads to IUI and eventually a positive? Wahh..so happy for you

i hv been trying on clomid for 6 mths and it does not respone on my body thus my gynae advise me to try IUI but i delay it becoz i losing faith and also money is factor. only this year i try IUI and i strike on 2nd time IUI.

share with u on my 1st IUI, inject daily morning and on my day 17 my follicle still did not grow the desire size and luckily on the day 18 manage to hv one follicle but failed.

my 2nd IUI total have 8 follicle maybe this is the higher chance for me conceiving.

i tried clomid for 6mths but my body did not want to respone and i lose faith and also money is the factor. only this year i try IUI and only strike on 2nd IUI.

share with u my first IUI, injection daily but no follicle till day 18 only one follicle but failed.

2nd IUI total hv 8 follicle maybe higher chances

i took injections for 11days.......my 1st IUI failed.....sob sobz....

next mth, i will do my 2nd IUI......i juz came back from holidays n i'm sick...so i rather push back my 2nd IUI yaaa

injections is to achieve the follicle. the name i forget liao (one tube S$400)

yes i can understand 2nd IUI i totally give up hope. i just tell myself go for the last try if cannot then stop for the time being. IUI need $$$$ and alot of time 2-3days hv to go clinic scan la....for my 1st IUI especially the 2ww can die but 2nd IUI i hack care.

my gyn found 9 fibroid in uterus! i jus woke up

Oh dear, hope u get well soon dear.. For fibroid u cnt find out thru scanning isit? Will it affect ur fertility?

Rest well, ally. Did they managed to remove all the fibroid?

Hiaz, I'm also waiting for my AF to come... usually super on time but tis time round, late... plus bad cramps at uterus area & pelvic even before I saw any spotting.... Quite uncomfotable & wondering wat's wrong wif my body... getting worried too. Hopefully, not cos of fibroid & stuff...

In case u gals r starting to wonder, I not pregnant lor cos didn't try at all for past mth cos hb outstation... so how? anyone ever experiencce such symptoms & finally ok?

Hope u recover soon. So when r u going to try for ur 2nd IVF? Private or gov hospital? Me still have not decide yet. Can private hospital use medisave (2nd time-5K, 3rd time-4K)? FYI, I recd my bill total 10K, got to pay 1K in cash, not cheap and service not good. I checked TMC they charged ard 12K-15K.

Yup, i did my IUI in SGH..under Dr Yu.
heh, thanks...still in 2ww.........soooo loooonng. End May then can do test. Hope AF dont come!

Come to think of it....how many really get successful during 1st attempt?

You considering IVF? How was it? Doc actually recommends IVF..but wasnt that keen to take it as immediate treatment.
