C-section mummy: aft how long den haf ur 2nd baby?

like wad autum82 said, GA's recovery time is longer than epidural. tt time my room mate she had GA heard her keep crying pain aft she was wheel back to our ward.

If u wanna see ur bb faster than u choose epidural n if u dun mind seeing ur bb later then u can choose GA~ Actually wat i knw is tat epidural ur hubby can go in gif birth wif u during the process while GA cannot ~

I chosen to have C-Sect on the 20th feb 09 as im afraid of the pain natural delivery will give. But not sure if should opt for full GA or Half GA (epidural) ? Any comments ?

Frankly speaking, like wat LoVes and MrsChia said. Choose either C-sect w Epidural or C-sect w Spinal would be best if u're opting for C-sect. Unless got special cases when u can't choose both of these then go for Full GA.

The pros for C-sect w epidural/spinal r faster recovery time and able to see yr bb immediately... Heard lesser pain than GA but ya, everyone has a different threshold to pain.. :tlaugh:

mine very different, operation c-section for ovarian cysts twice (Jun 1999 (burst) & Oct 2001 (left & right), then give normal birth to a boy in Jul 2002.. no epi & no Ga tried for 2nd child a year later but finally given normal birth to a girl in May 2006... no epi & no GA... & in the same year Sep 2006 went for c-section for 3rd tyme ovarian cysts.... in may 2008 (right), another 3 cyst appeared (2 left & 1 right)... in August... all 3 cyst disappear... plan for 3rd but till now still none..:embarrassed:

I gave birth thru natural birth with epidural... i was cut too... so i'm wondering whether my next baby wana go thru c-section or go thru natural birth again... because i'm over sensitive to epidural... just by e minimum dosage is enough to numb my whole body till I cant feel anything from neck down... now i'm still suffering the after effect of my epidural... so i'm still thinking which one to go...

u shd check wif ur gynae wad's e reason tt u need c-section. if is bcos of pelvic cant open den i think 2nd time oso need a c-section. mostly 1st time c-section 2nd time oso c-section. but still can try natural for 2nd time if u wan.
