wait til you reached 2nd trimester, you will wake up every 2-3hrs every night :tlaugh:

it's our body getting us ready for the hourly feeding :001_302:

Dear all,

My gynae has prescribed metoclopramide to help with my nausea which is very bad...

It does help a little for my case, as I also have a history of gastric trouble, which I suspect worsens my nauseousness recently. :nah:

has any one of u taken metoclopramide b4??

morning sickness is a misnomer because nausea can happen at any time of the day. for #2, i am experiencing it round-the-clock. no fun, but i am thankful at least i am not puking. lower-than-normal iron level as well as rise in HcG and hormonal fluctuations are also inducing headaches (even when lying in bed), grogginess and fatigue.

all i can say and am telling myself is to have a lot of rest and go easy on my daily schedule. take MC if possible and necessary because all these are just my body telling me naturally that it is working very hard (overdrive!) to make the placenta that will support my baby for the rest of the pregnancy.

can't wait for second tri to arrive!

Hi there, this is my first post. i went through the same disrupted sleep in the 2nd month, I'm now 12 weeks and 3 days. It's normal to wake up for the toilet run, lately mine has lessened, just don't drink so much water 1/2 hour before you sleep. But past 3 nights, been having backaches starting from mid-back to the base of the spine. Anyone has this problem?

back n spine aches occurs very often to me. even bathing time, im feeling so tiring standing while washing hair. i lean on the wall in the end, transfer the weight to the wall. ha. abit stupid. but i so wanna put a metal stool in the toilet for bathing purpose lo. even sitting down in the train while travelling.. ard45mins journey.. half way thru ald feeling the ache.. =(
hope tonight can sleep well. havent been having a great slp for many nights ald.

it is a common problem from 2nd tri onwards as the baby grows bigger and our growing belly puts the strain on our lower back, esp if we try to stand for too long or lie flat on our back for too long. that's why it is recommended to sleep sideways to take the pressure off the back. try sleeping with a body pillow snapped between your thighs and a pillow supporting your back as you lie sideways.
