CCTV to monitor maid

I think it is a good idea to install CCTV at home.

Initially we installed the CCTV just to monitor our myanmar maid. but later find that it has many other purposes.

my husband sometimes outside like to see what our children are doing, so conveniently open the App and can see. Sometimes, he will say "Hello" through the App and our children will be able to hear. It is fun for the kids.

You can request them to install. Need to pay a fee. Can DIY too.

Usually professional CCTV camera contractor will do site survey first to determine the best location to mount the camera and recorder, and how to run the cabling the best way. You can request those thin trucking so that it does not spoils your beautiful house renovation. Once confirmed, the vendor will arrange another day for installation. It should take half a day, as house wiring is quite fast. Good cctv contractor usually will provide you user training and ask you to reset password. Please for your own sake, do change the password and write it down. Sometimes, the default password is so easy to guess, and you won't want anyone else except you and your spouse to see what's happening in your house. Hope this helps everyone.
