Descaling Pigeon Rapid Steam Steriliser

How do you Mummies descale your Pigeon steam steriliser? I read the instructions to use vinegar+water. I've not tried it before though.

Anyone did? And was there a strong vinegar smell afterwards?

i guess same as any other steriliser, use lemon juice plus water to descale will do.. or citric acid that u can find in the baking section. better don use vinegar cos not natural

i'm using lemon juice to descale it once a wk. So far so gd nice smell after that too.

I have this steriliser too but i dun descale it, only wash it, is it ok?

I think it is best you descale your steriliser once limescale builds up, if not the performance of your steriliser may be affected.

I followed the instructions given with the steriliser and used vinegar+water. It works very well!
