Just as when I was almost given the third dose of prostin after 28hours without contractions, nurse checked that I'm ady 3cm dilated. Wow so happy.. Then she said can go labour room and break waterbag ady. I was like yay!! Finally it's my turn!
Now given drips and seriously despite I only experienced mild pain, I dun like this feeling. I will ask for epidural later n see how it goes.

Hi mummiess.
So sorry for being late to type!!
Here's my story...
Mum arrived from Thailand, we all had supper & reached home at 12mn.
Me & Hubby stayed up to chat till 3am.
Mum joked that Baby's waiting to see her Thai Granny. Now that Granny is here, she told Hubby that i'll get labour pains tonight...
2 of us were like 'wdheck.. No la. Doc say I'm safe for 1 week'
330am
Hubby & I slept
445am
Felt 2 small Gushes of Liquid. Colourless & Odorless.
Immediately went to Pee. Changed PantyLiner.
5-515am
Liq still seemed to trickle out. Bit by Bit.
I knew it was time as I already cleared my bladder.
515am
Woke Hubby, his 'Huh, Really?' face was priceless...
We laid in Bed with our Own thoughts for few mins
After That I felt Like pooping, so went to clear my bowels.
Realized discharge turned Pinkish.
530-615am
Dillydally pack last min things While Hubby Showered.
645am
Reached KK & checked into observation rm.
Saw that Pinkish liquid on Pad is accompanied by thick Yellowish Discharge.
Nurse Ask me lie down & to cough.
More Liq came out.
She confirmed Bag is Burst & ask me to chk into delivery suite.
730am
Strapped to CTG machine in delivery ward.
Small Menses-Like Cramp feeling.
830am MO came to check Cervix.
My first experience. SUCKSsss. bloody Uncomfy. She kept wriggling & wriggling her Hands. felt her touch a sensitive Area.
She said fingertip wide. 1cm
Said at next Check they'll insert vaginal Pessary to speed up dilation.
(told Hubby go get Bfast as I ate Hospital Food)

My Gynae is here!
Explain he will put vagina pill twice Thn drip later as since bag burst, we must get baby out by 24h.
Cervix check was much better with him.
Though he also touched sensitive area, it was Swift & Fast.
He realize im alr 3cm so cancelled the pill!
Est another 10-12h for delivery.
So he say Drip will do.
Asked if I want EPI, I rejected.
Heart Sank as I was so slpy, having not slept at ALL.. dunno can tahan till 10pm-12MN at his estimate.
Contractions once every 4-6mins.
Lasting about 40s.
Nurse say my pain threshold high as more than half will ask for some form of pain relief by now.
1145am
Hubby bought & fed me Veg Rice.
Contractions start to be uncomfy. Can't chew food when it's here.
Bed handle squeezing happening.
It's worse when being strapped to Bed. Not being able to move makes it difficult to manage pain.
1230pm
Drip inserted
Warned that it'd get worse.
1245pm
After drip, pain more Unbearable.
squeezing Hubby's Hand & my Toes all curling in pain.
Hubby keep badgering me to tk EPI.
120pm
I asked Epi as I don't think I can take the current contractions and worser ones for another 10h cuz my DoC say earliest I'd pop is 10+pm.
145pm
EPI done. Had to do when I'd no contractions.
2 needles inserted. Took total 5-6mins.
I had 2 contractions in between so anaesthetist had to stop. So pain, wished it'd stop.
Effect was immediate.
EPI is indeed worlds greatest invention.
Felt warmth spread to my legs.
Small numb feeling but I can still move them.
Literally felt like I was in a Javanese Spa where ppl were massaging My legs with Warm Honey.
I could slp any min..

Told Hubby to go bk cuz he can rest too since I'm no longer in pain & I can slp any min.
& anyway DOc predict labour at 10-12MN.

Was asleep but woken by MO.
They Check cervix. Can feel someone touching but no discomfort.
And
WAD the HECK.
8cm.
Expected me to push at 6pm.
Call Hubby. He juz got on bed & was shocked to hear im 8cm.
He rushing bk to KKH.

My Gynae came.
Hubby not here yet.
Gynae said 'not bad ah. U r doing way better than I expected for a 1st time mum'
He check cervix and gave nurse a Funny look.
I was expecting him to say that the In-House junior doc check wrongly.
His words I'll nv forget..
"8cm? She's already fully Dilated. Baby's Head is already there. Can push anytime her Hubby is Bk"
"very Gd very Gd, ure really doing very well."
Doc switched Lowered EPI to labour Mode, I felt the cramps but were very Bearable.
Immediately call hubs & hurried him. Luckily he's alr at lobby.
415-425pm
Doc & midwife explain to Hubby how to assist me and teach me how to breathe to push.
435pm
Had about 8 contractions so Pushed when I felt it.
Took 8-10mins
Last part Doc say don't push, just pant with small breath.
And so fast,
Our Mini-mE is out!!!!!
Weighing 3.066kg & she has a Head full of Hair..
No episiotomy done!!
Juz 2 small tears which DoC say will heal fast & won't Hurt bad...
Doc said if I didn't take EpI, would have popped by 2+pm.

How was I to know when initially he predicted 10-12midnight?

Oh. Avent breast shield is God sent. Wear it with sports bra. It captures the BM. N u can pour it to save in bottle n freeze it.

Are u still in KKH? I just took epidural without hesitation and now lying happily in my labour room. I really dun like the menses cramp kinda of feeling. So just as they started the oxytocin drip, I told the nurse to prepare me for the epidural. Ok will continue more once I hv given birth.

Doc said progress was well so can discharge.

Stings badly at first 7 sucks Thn gets bearable.
Her mouth seems small, difficult to stuff whole Areola in...

My gal now 2days old & has 3pees, 5stools...

They didn't tell me how many times baby poop first day only tell me got poop n pee. I think once milk kick in baby poop should be golden haha. Provided u take confinement food that is heaty.

Contraction feels like wanna pee or poo so bad after inducing with drip. Also like menses cramp n u wanna flush something out

First day till third day baby poop a lot Then depends on individual. Milk kick in third day if natural n can see from poop. I took a lot of red dates soup n the pee also a bit like the colour of soup I take. When baby got jaundice I tried not take too heaty else she might get worse. So pee turn clear slowly bcos I cut off excessive ginger n red dates
Colostrum if u squeeze like gel type or creamy with consistency of lotion haha. Milk will flow like water

Dmummy! You went to induce or pain naturally? After the mucus plug drop on sat, my tummy feels hard more frequent with more menses like cramp but doc ask me go hospital only if more than 5 times an hour so still monitoring.
Lovepixie, the Avent shield can capture only colostrum or a lot of breast milk? Seems a good thing leh but I can't imagine how it works... haha.
