i m 38weeks with no dilation yet. doctor said if no dilation by due date, will need induction or c-sec :err: Really hate the cervix check every week since week 36. It is really uncomfortable and slightly painful. Is ur cervix check for dilation painful too?

Checkup today at 37.5wks.. Baby weight is about 2.6-2.8kg..doc said everything is normal.
will not deliver this week..good I can enjoy cny

10yrs ago when I delivered my 1st la haha. Dat was when I in delivery suite. I tink during checkups he also nv checked mine. Tink as long as no symptoms of delivery ... he'll schedule for induce liao. No point check if got dilation during checkup mah.

Dr Tee has never checked me for cervix dilation. he checks for you?

Hi deariejojo, I m also have the checkup today. bb weight at 2.8kg..Doctor said his head is at the very low position.

ooo i din know most other doctors did not check for dilation during weekly check! i should hv requested not to check during my 36/37weeks visit since no symptons or contraction at all!!!

My gynae did the strep b for me at week 34 without me knowing. I tot she was doing test to see if my discharge is normal cos I complained abt having lots of discharge. It was just a cotton bud swap

I heard from my friends who delivered at mt A & nuh that they were told not to paint their nails or have makeup or wear contact lens during their delivery.
Ithink best to check with your Dr if allowed or else it will be troublesome later on...
