You can always find chance to let ur hubby do the work, last time I also, then after that some time I will tell my hubby I going out with fren to club, I need to relax, ask him look after baby, he no chose have to let me go... He will do the job for looking after baby...

Joey, my situation worse off than you. My hubby after 2 weeks fly back to Shanghai liao leaving me alone to take care of baby and arrange all whatever need to be done. My mum is my confinement lady but I don't want her to be too tired since she also not young, so I end up doing most of the things myself. Couple with my no breast milk, I am very very frustrated. Want to give up BF but press on so that I have no regrets later. I tell myself must rely on ourselves so tahan until now. Even he was not around to see the birth of the baby I also nevermind.

Don't think too much of unhappy things and get depress. Crying is not good during confinement. Tell your hubby to help you and do the things when you are tired. Don't keep to youself and suffer ok?

Amazingpig- I'm just opened my 3rd pack of huggies newborn diapers. I bought them from supermarket at $7. Super duper chor!! Suppose to use cloth diapers for bb but not experienced, dunno hw to use. End up use disposable. Lol.. And my girl is only 13 days!!

Amazingpig- waaa if i need to bathe my girl infront of others, i sure super stress de lah! Kns. But inexperienced, i will want someone to help me on the first time also.. But the child is our own one afterall, why is there a need to "prove" to others that we can do it? It's not nice at all..

But for travelling in car, I will carry bb.. I feel that bb will feel more safe in our embrace. Just like i dun put her in stroller when we go out. I will carry her.. But to each her own lah. When she is bigger then i will get carseat and stroller for her.. Still, u are bb's mum, they shld respect ur decision. Just like my mum and mil, they will tell me to do this and that. I straight tell them, no need, with my reasons. Then they will just let make my own decision and respect me. Just that they will still lemme know their opinions which i will listen first. Like for carseat and stroller, initially i wanted to get. My mum told me still small dont use first, I agreed and listen to her lor.. But whatever decision u make that does not agree with theirs, it is best u support and back it up with good reasoning so that they wont have much to say. Like example my mil ask me feed my girl water, i tell her no need, that all the book and online i read all say no need to feed water at all.. So she nv say anything else.

Coz I got a friend, nv put car seat. Then meet minor accident, husband e brake. Bb head knock on to the back of driver seat causing a permanent Sucken bump on head. So car seat very important. Singapore driver very reckless and kiasu also.

If touch wood anything happen, who should I blame. I in no position to scold her also.

Catflyin - yeah.. But d tins is his tired too .. N this is wat I heard from his reply when ever I ask him do Hse wrk.. Den end up c him playin iPad .. So damn Dulan.. Ur situation can understand.. If me , I won't feel so sad if he gt no choice have to go oversea wrk n left me wif bb... But my is different in .. His wif me most of d time .. Almost everyday.. Jus he wrking shift.. Den timing different .. But even his wif me but doin notin .. Den tis cal fraustrated.. I rather he all d way stay at wrk place ot or Watever la.. Dun cme bk.. Every time I wake up from my rest n saw him playing game feel like smack his face...

Must put baby in the car seat...it's dangerous to hand carry in car, beside that is the purpose of car seat...

Blackangel- yea, I went for scan last time and have low bone density.gynae prescribed me calcium pill.but dunno y the intake given is lower than my ortho specialist prescribed. Knee will pain if not enough calcium.feel like lao ah ma and depressed last time.nw start to worry tht after bb come out will it be worse or not.lol.I m in 37 weeks 2 days nw.

Shoold be fine, continue to eat ya pre-natal vitamins & supplements as per ya gynae prescribed.
Drink more milk or soya bean..

i bought pampers for NB from Gmarket when they had offers the last time. though bb is only 11 days old today, she is using her 4th pack of diapers liao. i have 3packs left and the CL says to buy size s already. my hubby and i went Giant yesterday after bb jaundice test and we are trying out their diapers. since bb changes so quickly, we thought we give Giant brand diapers a try. we bought a pack of size s (42 pieces) fro S$8.05. Huggies cost S$13 for a pack of 44. Nepia brand (from Japan i think) also not bad i heard. my colleague is using this and she says not bad. If you want to try this, order from their website not Gmarket cos price on their website is cheaper.

So far me & hubby find Goon not bad..soft, thin..
mee also used Mummypoko and Dryers and Huggies as CL keep on promoting Mummypoko & Drypers & Huggies were gifts from friends.
mummypoko good, very absorbent...
drypers - I don't like it's sticky tape, my gal cries when I remove the tape (cos it's loud & tend to stick onto her skin).
huggies also ok...
