Hi Putri sorry for the late reply as I haven't been loggin in. I took epi cos I knew that was what I needed. The contractions were really painful. Have you decided yet?
Wow! Tat was fast! 45mins of pushin. Do u take epi, gas or go wtout any?
Im still contemplating if i can tahan the pain or not.
However, CONGRATS on the new arrival!

Hi Apr gal! Yeah I was under observation from 5-11am. Took the epi and was waiting for dilation and the right moment to start pushing. There was no pain, the epi was painless too but I did have shivers.

Hi all
Just to update, I still have trouble having breast milk. I have out my baby on formula in the third day because she was so hungry. I tried to breastfeed her for the first three days but there was no milk. I am abit sad but have no Choicr but to out hee in formula and try to express my milk.
It's not easy expressing was you have to do it every 2 hours. I fail to keep to that schedule as i am so tired inbthe day and night and maybe that's why I still don't have alot. I am putting hee on nestle nan as I heard that its good and not as heaty as similac.

I am a mother of 2 with a 3rd due via c-section this Friday. Even though I've been through it twice before, I'm still extremely nervous. Although hesitant, we plan to do ligation as we think 3 is the max number of kids we can afford. Susannanation, don't give up. Consult a lactation specialist to help you. It can be very fulfilling once u get the hang of it. Latching on is best way to bring on the supply. You have to drink plenty of fluid and eat well.

Keep latching ur baby..massage ur breast in circular motion before pumping for 5mins den while pumping slowly use ur tumb to push down the side of ur breast towards ur nipple.. dun be discouraged! Yup yup agree with ryca.. the first three or four days no milk is normal. Just keep massaging and drink lots of soup. Green papaya with fish soup.. Fourth day onwards milk will come in. I'm quite shock too. I don't have big busty breast but I let baby suckle to stimulate first even if there's no milk. Fourth day I started producing already ) best if you can drink those lactating milk..

Dun give up on pumping n latching yr bb. D more frequent d better. I feel tired too but I never give up. Juz do as feequent as u can. Try to eat more protein food like fish, egg, broccoli, fish soup, papaya soup n hot drink to bring d milk in. Also try hot compress, hot drinks nassage before pumping or latching.

Hi want to ask... so is it better to latch on solely for the first few days or to express milk with pumps? Can start pumping after 2 weeks cuz I intend to latch on solely for the first few weeks? I haven't buy pump yet because I dont know if I will have milk, haiz I envy some of you who have, because I heard some of us really have no milk at all...

But the first 3 days when u pump got milk? Or jus latch, after 3 days then pump?
I started pumping 2nd day den all I had was abit of colostrum..I gave the nurse to feed to my baby. Den third day the colostrum got more n later on tat day my milk came! Den I now I still pump whn baby sleeps. Supply = demand. Sometimes I still pump in the wee hours after feeding baby or wen I feel my breast is full I jus pump n keep. A full fledge cow now at home haha

Haha dont say that u r lucky to be a mum full of milk... I wish I can be lidat... anything u did specifically to.increase bm? It really comes in naturally? In that case I will latch and pump and be extremely hard working.. when u pump and get colostrum, how much did u get? Haiz I hope I can breastfeed successfully...
