Yippy! Everything is ok!! D e gp took a sample of your blood to Chk for infection? Anyway I read An article abt abdominal pain during pregnancy could b due to ligament pull from the increasing uterus size. Usu, occurs btw 14-16 wks onwards. Some MTb experienced it on 12 wks..

Not really bangalah & diddy, during my 1st few weeks my appetite was good...

Just recently tis few weeks dont know y, i like lose interest in food. Everything I ate taste bland to me. Just forcing myself to eat for the sake of baby.
Me too. I'm getting mild nauseous also only during late first trim till now second. -.- just eating to make sure i'm not hungry. Heh. Baby still small shouldn't need too much food anyways. =P gained nearly 3kg.. Hopefully second trim maintain.

hi sherwawa.....i juz came bck fm the GP again :(

having bad gastric since yesterday....sigh.....nvr take blood test....juz prescribe me antacids.....duno when this thing will last.....

try to eat more carbo like rice, potato, pasta, and more meat? oh and also try drinking a glass of milk everyday :)

I'm also very petite & underweight. For first pregnancy, lost 2kg due to vomiting then finally gained 10kg through pregnancy.
My diet is largely vegetarian, these are what I eat typically:
Breakfast: wholemeal bread / oats / bananas, fruits, full cream milk
Lunch: Multigrains / wholemeal pasta or noodles, vegetables, egg / tofu, soup
Snack: wholemeal bread / oats, fruits, full cream milk
Dinner: Multigrains / wholemeal pasta or noodles, vegetables, tofu / oily deep sea fish (salmon or mackerel), soup, fruits
Snack: wholemeal biscuits / vegetable pie
Supplements advised by obgyn: multivit, calcium + vit D, DHA

If appetite is small, eat small amounts regularly (about every 2 hours).
For carbo, opt for wholegrains that are more nutritious compared to white rice / bleached flour.
Ideal weight gain is 10-12kg. All the best! :)

Yah, very healthy ineed!! I wish I can be that disciplined. keke... I've craving for the junk food like french fries instead of oats.. I just satisfied my craving for durian on monday.. gosh! first time eating during after sooo long and super yummy loh..

Everyday I have been keeping track of my weight at home, but I didn't seem to put on alot of weight since my preggy journey began.. about 400g only.. I wonder is it normal.. hopefully baby is growing healthly. will be going for oscar scan and blood test this friday. hopefully all will be fine.

btw mummies, have you started to apply stretch mark cream ? do you know if it's alright to see strawberries (about 6 pcs each time) daily ? will it be too cooling for the baby ?

i have not applied stretch mark cream. is it necessary? any good brands to recommend?

think its alright to eat strawberries. because i'm living in europe now, its spring here, so its strawberry seasons. i eat about 6-8 pieces everyday. berries are very healthy and help in pooing too! :)

I signed up a confinement nanny service with this company recently and had a very bad experience with them. The lady in charge was Ms Manissa Hp no 81014039 who is also a massage therapist. Ms Manissa charged me $2600 for 30days for 24hrs service but she never keep to her word. She assigned a nanny, Ms Lyna who is very problematic and has many personal problems. Always have issues at home and cannot work. On 2 occasions during my confinement period, I asked Ms Manissa for replacement because the nanny,Ms Lyna had to leave to attend to personal matters. As written in the contract, Manissa has to replace but did not do so.

After 3 weeks, the nanny ran away in the middle of the night and did not inform me or my husband. We woke up to our babies cries and she was missing. She left my babies unattended. Very irresponsible an unreliable! When I inform Ms Manissa to replace or refund she just ignore me till today! How rude!
Instead of confronting me, she told her boyfriend or some guy, Mr Raden to talk to me to tell me that the contract has ended. I didn't even sign a contract with this guy. He may be some crook for all I know.

Before receiving her payment she came over to my house a few days after i came home from hospital acting like she is visiting me and concern about me. IN reality, she just want her money. After she received her money and the nanny started giving me problems, Ms Manissa just hide and dont't even have the courtesy to come to my house and apologise or confront us to provide a solution. Instead, she just hide and ignore us and arrogantly said her company is still very good. She still advertise for her massages.

Until today, Ms Manissa still owes me money for the days that the nanny disappear and did not come to work. Ms Manissa is truly a bad service provider. Only nice before receiving $$. Not a sincere person and definitely not trustworthy.

I signed up with her thinking that maybe can give a try to a Malay company cos I prefer Malay cooking during my confinement. Unfortunately, this particular Malay lady and her friends or employees are an embarrassment to the Malay community. Not only she took our $$ she also gave me stress and no rest. Instead of resting, I have more work to attend to.

Ms Manissa also provides massages. She is a a certified therapist but with an attitude like that I will NOT recommend anyone to sign up with her. The company address she gave also doesn't exist. Not sure if she actually has an office or not. I think she has an Ali Baba company.

on the contrary.. i find time passes so slow because still 5 months to go before I can hold my baby in my arms..

i'm not engaging in any confinement lady.. my MIL doing confinement for me :)

I just bought Clarins as recommended by friends. worried about stretch marks so will try it out.

wow!! strawberry seasons... very fresh :Dancing_tongue:ah!! can help in poo poo.. that's a plus sign coz now i need to eat prunes and at times stool softener to help poo poo.. haiz.. I will start loading up berries.

I am excited but like didy, i also felt that time passes by slowly.. i've been counting each day and now only 12th week.. keke.. I went for oscar today and will know the result next week. hope all will be fine. Baby was very cooperative during oscar scan and it was done in 15 mins.

But baby wasn't cooperative during appt with gynae after oscar.. keke.. doc said cannot see gender yet.. hopefully by next visit (16th week) will know.

I will source for confinement lady. ladies, any good recommendation ?

3 years ago, I decided to turn vegetarian, so need to eat more whole grains with beans / peas to get complete protein. Whole grains are good for controlling sugar level too.

Of cos, i've my cravings for stuff like roti pratas, ice creams, cakes and desserts. Yum yum! :)
