hmm weird, how come different dr give different supplements. seems like all of us taking different vitamins even though we are just few weeks difference.

me too..the morning sickness goes for abt a week..then suddenly come bk for a day.. so unpredictable..think i shd get some pills for relief from gyane..jua in case im out n cant tahan..

Just checked with my gynae, hes saying that we will only need fish oil and calcium from 20weeks onwards. Before that just take multi vit, can stop folic acid.
Bird nest is for protein, can take once or twice per week, we dont need it if we are healthy and baby is of the right size.

Am down with a very bad flu and now has trouble keeping food down :( hope the flu virus dun harm my baby.

Anyone knows the gender of their baby yet? Dr says not confirm but most likely I'm having a princess!

Thanks for the info Xtinee! Actually I can stop folic too, my gynae didn't replenish so Im just finishing up those leftovers but my friend just gave me a bottle of organic folic acid faintx.

For the bird nest, I bought 6 boxes. Intend to take 6 bottles a month so 6 boxes just nice till delivery.

so far my friends shared their MS is totally gone by 5th mth.

hmm i rmb i saw someone wrote before, saying lik consume 1-2 teaspoon every morning...so i thought those are like " lohangka" one big bottle type... hmm..haha...u now which one is better? :p

i am going for my next appointment next monday. by then will be end of 15wk. dunno if i can see the gender? :p quite nervous!! :p

i m first time mummy...thinking to join the KKH prenatal course...anyone joining/ interested? :p

I also have also increased M/S last few weeks, now hitting week 16. i am surprised since i did not have m/s for #1.

do avoid cooling food and heaty food. raw food are a no-no. but fruits are ok. 100% cooked food only.

ginger helps to reduce m/s. so does eating frequently in small amounts. i think i will do yoga when in week 25+

Hi Mommies To Be,

Anyone having flu n sore throat? Yesterday I coughed n vomitted.. till there was blood.. Hence went to KKH and was diagnosed with Throat infection. Doc gave me the flu medi, cough mixture n lozenges for 1 week.

She also scanned the baby n said baby is fine. I am not 17 weeks..

I have frequent coughs too and a lot of phelgm in my throat. Last night was coughing rather badly cos throat v prickly....I think it is a pregnancy quirk....

I'm having a cough and stuffy nose too :(
Pregnancy really makes us susceptible to infections... stay away from sick ppl and take more Vit C!

I also read on Babycenter that during this time the hormones make our nasal membranes very lax so the mucus accumulate more.. that's why we snore more and have sinus problems.

I dont have cough but if i choke n cough, i can feel is painful to cough ard the tummy area.
Now i press my tummy, is firm feeling . Used to be very soft . do u all try pressing ur tummy lightly?

Haha, becasue the baby is there thats y tummy is firm feeling. Its is normal

btw, any mummies go to JB to buy bb stuff? Im thinking of going but im firsttime mummy, not sure wad things to look out for. Any tips from experieence mummies?

I have sinus and sneeze almost everyday, when you sneeze make sure you bend your tummy, if not it will be extremely painful.

Haha huiqin83 i was showing my hubby I have muscles now showing him my belly and he gave me a lame look


mums the word yes i snore now, maybe because my nasal is block so now harder to breathe

My doctor told me i may have a baby boy at week 11 5days check up.

The last scanning i try to confirm with him again, he said cant see as the baby back is facing us. So hopefully can confirm next mth on the 8th. So excited. Wanted to buy some baby stuffs also.

and i fart alot nowadays! hahaaa I just let it out openly at home, my dog n hubby will run away

june83, oh u r so lucky!! can see so early. my dr dun wana tell me in previous scan. he say no news is better than false news -___-
hahaa i tot u already have a few kids, not going to use pass-me-down from sibling?
