huiqin83 there was once i sneeze and my tummy hurt badly (piercing pain) then now whenever i sneeze i bend forward a bit, not painful.
Ya i fart and sneeze a lot nowadays can even hear the wind moving inside my tummy. Maybe cause my bb likes to eat indian curry and hot or spicy stuff.

Ya june83 u are really lucky, i went to scan at 13weeks still cannot see :( im going to ask doctor on my 15 weeks to see if able to see.

How often do u ladies visit your gynae? Mine is only once a mth...in between this time, I'm always a nervous wreck wondering if my baby is still intact.

Mine also visit once a mth, then from 7th month onwards will be visiting 2/mth, 9th month onwards is 1/week.

Im visiting 2weeks once now, since I signed for prenatal package, the doctor is saying up to me now, I'm thinking 3 weeks once.
Too long apart I will get worried.
Wanted to buy a doppler to hear BB HB to make sure hes ok, but doc say I will get addicted, which is true.

my first trimester is every 2 weeks. then wk12 onwards, is once a month. i oso sign up for the prenatal package.
some dr only starts at wk14 or 19! im thankful mine starts from 12.

hahaa xtinee, so did u buy the doppler? maybe second hand one enuff
my dr oso joke with me wana buy the machine home or nt. everynight scan cos i complain once a mth too long..

and thanks for tips! i will try the bend method when i sneeze

huiqin 83 Hmmm i wanted to but some say will harm the BB, i asked my doctor he say wont, maybe i will just change my visit more often since its free now.
Yes my prenatal package start at 12 weeks too, so save a lot :)
Maybe if you think that one month is too long can request to visit like 3 weeks once, 2weeks is already too long for me now haha.

eh can request earlier check one ar? my dr got limit to 11 visits for his package. if exceed, he will charge accordingly.
which dr r u seeing, so good can choose one .

yes, 2 weeks im already like bua tahan liao! 4weeks to me is like SOOOOO long..
btw anyone start going for the hospital tour? Im going tmc tour this sat

huiqin83, I already went for the tour at Thomson medical. There will be a free bowl of papaya fish soup for everyone. The soup is delicious!

ya i went for my 13weeks scan few days ago, asked him when is my next appt, he says up to me. Gynae James Lee at Toa payoh.
Hmmm he never limit how many times i visit, just say the $700 will cover at least 14 visits. This doctor let me choose my hospital also

Wow Thomson Medical Center free soup, maybe i will go later when i'm further along

oo so good. mine is dr decide when i go back. i can only choose TMC n Mt A, but most likely tmc as his clinic is downstairs only. he will come n visit more often in btwn his appt and if anything happen. my hub can just run down find him. If clinic elsewhere, i will choose mt A, seems cheaper.

My Gynae is at Thomson Plaza, he deliver at TMC, Gleneagle, Mt E and Mt A. I like Mt A, but since Ligation cant operate in Mt A, then no choice have to change to TMC. For all private hospital Mt A is the most cheapest, nurse is nice also. Hopefully TMC service is good too.

oo good that u have more choices. i feel sometimes is abit of luck thing. There are always good and bad stories of each hospital. Some ppl unlucky to get a unfriendly or bad mood nurse that day, some get nice and real sweet one.

hi ladies.. need yr advice.. better still if there is anyone here of a managerial role, or from the HR dept..

i'm currently unemployed and looking for a job, i need income cus i'm the sole breadwinner of my family (including parents)

should i be upfront about my pregnancy..? i mean.. if i am upfront during interview, they're definitely not going to hire me right..

but i keep quiet about it and after like another 2 months then i tell them, like in june or something.. that is 4 months away from delivery, they can't terminate me anymore..?

another thing is, recently, the jobs are all like 1 year contracts.. then i would be.. work 5mths and maternity 4mths and go back work 3 months?!

my goodness. i am damn confused and in a horrible dilemna and its causing me alot of stress.. making me have insomnia and feeling very depressed.....

Hi keyi..u shall upfront wth the employer or else u cant get paid during maternity period. One of condition to entitle maternity leave is u must wth employer at least 3 mths.. n most of the employer r not prefer to have an unhonest employee..u may lose a job after that..U can look for a temp job like 3mths contract job which is more suitable to u I think..hope this help u:')

Hi keyi, I also agree on been honest with your employer. Maybe u try gov jobs as I guess they are more acceptance compared to private?
I just went for checkup n hospital tour today. Bb is very corporative today after days of talking to bb. Open leg big big let mummy daddy see his little... hheee
I'm having a little boy!! =D

Can start bb shopping soon buwhahaaa
