full bottle feeding

hi, not sure if this thread is the correct section for this question.

any mummies here opted for full bottle feeding? did doctor gave any medicine to stop the milk flow?

uh, i nvr opt for it.. but the engorgement lasted a dew days then stopped by itself.

me too didnt opt for it but had no choice.I didnt even have colostrum!Took meds dr prescribed to encourage milk flow but still nothing..grrrr!Then no choice but to bottle feed fully..all my 3 kids.
I did have some engorgement abt 5 days later..squeeze n latch still nothing came out then the engorgement went down after just 2 days.
Bottle feeding is not so bad .Sometimes i think the strong emphasis on breast feeding makes mums like me feel guility.But really no milk then no choice lah.

I did not opt for full bottle feeding, but I heard that you can ask gynae for medication to stop milk flow or to reduce the milk flow

i think mine is similar to u.
the BM came only like the 4th to 5th day n pin tried latching on but no milk!
the engorgement came but no matter how i pump, also tt lil amt of milk. so gv up....
