Hi! Congrats.. if u would like to pay less (w gov subsidy-if u r singaporean), u can go ployclinic to find gynae to confirm ur preggy n ask for referral to hospital for futher check ups.. usually they'll ask u which hospital u prefered..

P.S. for gov sub, the appointment n queue waiting time will b longer compared to those who see private ones.

Hope this info helps :)
Yes it helps a lot! A million thanks :)

Oh yes, n regarding the Folic Acid, after going ployclinic, they will probably ask u to get medicine from the pharmacy which is the folic acid.. so no worries about that.. :)

Congratz!! :)
hmmm.. Dont mind are u in ur 3-4 months now?
Not sure if different months will check different things on first appointment.
Since u r referred, u r automatically subsidized patient. However, on ur first visit registration, u will be informed and asked whether u wanna go for subsidized care.
Usually 1st consult shld include:
- cost of consult
- routine test
- u/s study
- blood test
Costing $100+for subsidized. Excluding supplements.
Private im not sure.
TPS depends on the gynae u fix can be high $200++
In ur case, depending on whether u do optional down syndrome test on 1st visit (dependin on weeks of preg, single
or multiple preg, price also diff)
Subsidized i think high $100+
Private about 2X of that.. I think.. Haha..

Rate as per nov 2012.. Disclaimer: any changes in prices since then, dont hold me responsible! haha!!
Hope this helps.. Haha.. :) enjoy ur pregnancy!!

So it's still about a hundred plus uh? Any idea what's the difference if I opt for the subsidized or not?

I only know subsidized cant choose gynae and seen by mo, non-subsidized can choose fixed obgynae for every visit.
Subsidized might hv medical students ard during consult..
Tps visit gt scans in consult room available and will do scan (and can know weight of baby! but i jus got v excited over tt so i know at least how the baby is growing.. haha!) every visit i think.. Subsidized only do scans on certain weeks of pregnancy.
Another thing is i was told subsidized cannot choose A1 ward by counter staff.. Not sure how true..
Service wise v different? But i think tt's subjective..
Dunno wat else at the moment..
