Is Chicken Poisonous?

Hi ppl.. i would like to ask if chicken is poisonous during confinement? coz i heard my fren's mum says chicken poisonous lehz..

wat i heard is that some mummys in confinement will eat 1 kampong chicken every day for don't know how long leh...

so i don't think chicken is poisonous ba...

i ate 2 kampung chickens everyday during my confinement!!

sometimes 2 + 1 (black spring chicken in DOM/Martell)

kampung chick is not coz they are running, no steriods injection.

normal chickens are, coz fatter due to steriods injections, and they are cooped up in cages....unhealthy.

tats wad all my mums friends, relatives, hubby relatives, MIL said.

i dun tink it's poisonous lah... it's very common for ppl to eat chicken stir-fried wif sesame oil n old ginger during confinement... if poisonous, dun tink it'll hv become a common confinement dish le...

If chicken meat is poisonous then must be very limited food you can eat. I don't think so. I have survived 2 confinement period by eating chicken meat, and other stuffs "those heaty stuffs".

Don't think is poisonous. I ate chicken during my confinement too..

Think 'poisonous' is just too harsh leh. MY confinement menu had chicken soup and the meat, no PROBLEMO.

Perhaps, it is just an old wives' tale or rather it is the belief of specific culture.

i dink wad they meant was shd it be kampung chicken or normal fatter chickens....from wad the aunties said we are sup to eat only kampung chicken.

i heard tat for c-sect ppl shouldnt take chix for the 1st 2wks only but for natural birth ppl is ok~
