Is It Worth Getting A Baby Monitor?

Hi Mummies

I was wondering if its worth getting a baby monitor. Do you have 1 for your baby? If yes which brand do you recommand? Please advise.

For me it is worth coz since born till ard almost 4mths my ds is slping alone at living rm as he doesnt like slping our rm so the baby monitor is handy to us as we close the door n on aircon which might nt hear ds's crying. We bought philips brand.

mine is philips...
very handy cos at birth till 2mths, my boi sleep in e room...then durine e day my maid do housework, cook, etc...if my boi cry (he cry v soft), she can hear fm kitchen n will quickly go to see him....

then when he started to slp in living room, my maid still use it...she put in toilet when she wash toilet

was looking around for one but till now never buy. coz baby cry kind of loud no prob unless in the bath room but guess nothing much to be done if in the bath room except for shortening the time.

I see Phillips is the 100++ one right? Was thinking of having one coz hb keep saying he cant hear baby cry! -.- lousy excuse from hb

I did not have one, I think it all depend on you. I knew of some who has but found it redundant.
