Need help on how to start taking the maternity leave?

how many weeks are u preg?

at tat time i planned to take 2 weeks before EDD, probably deduct from AL, den rest ML after i delivered.....

but my boy wanted to come out earlier.....heee...so i din take any AL.

if u mean how to apply for ML, you have to check with your HR who will guide you to print the necessary docs and filled up to submit either before labour or 1 month within labour.

if u are checking on how long before u should start your ML, advise is 2 weeks before EDD so that u can rest well and get ready and in some cases, BB popped with 2 weekd of EDD.

Thanks a lot for the answers given. I'm currently in my 32th week so need to plan for the ML.
So means that if i'm taking 2 weeks before my EDD, it will be consider as AL? as currently not much AL left so might need to take unpaid leave :embarrassed:.

u can take as ML oso just tat your period of resting will be shorter, perhaps 3months become 2month 2 weeks, coz that 2 weeks is deducted from pre-delivery leave.
