Middle child syndrome

Anyone with kids having middle child syndrome?

My hubby is a middle child. He's more independent than his brother and sister. Can tell that his parents dote more on his brother and sister too.

I'm middle child, don't feel like my parents dote on my bro or sis more than me. I think it's how the parents treat the children that's more impt.

When I was doing Educational Psychology, the lecturer said that middle children usually have very high EQ cos they learn to handle older siblings and younger siblings from young. They usually want to excel in whatever they do to gain more attention from parents.
