Which subject? Mine is P3. Has been going for science for 2 terms. So far not bad.
Notes are good and they are given practice papers during tuition time, so not much homework, which i like :)

I am planning to send my child to mind stretcher. Is it good or useful ?
I send my 2 daughters P5 and P2 for English at Choa Chu Kang branch last 11 months. I would like to comment that the worksheets that they provide is very good. From what i know is that they get those specialist to work out the worksheets and all the centre use the same worksheets.

However, i recently stop my daughters from Mind Strectcher. The reason is because for the last year, they keep changing the teacher, like my P5 girl, all in all she change 5 teachers. Sometimes just get relieve teacher. I find that this is really bad.

If you really send you child there, you have to look out for this problem.

FYI Mind Stretcher do not accept average students. They only accept students with good results. If your child is average, they will ask you to get 1-1 private tutor. Very hao lian tuition centre

That's how they maintain all the 'A*' results on their notice boards.

But I've seen their reading programs for the younger children, I think it's quite solid. May send my boy there since his current phonics class is going so SLOW (still at letter introduction).

Yes, I agree with the fact that the centre has been changing teacher many times! Nothing against the relief teachers but there have to be a kind of commitment from the permanent teachers, isn't it. For my child's case, even the most 'prestigious' chief teacher (main branch) has been absented for most of the time! So can be quite disappointing at times...

I sent my girl for their phonics lessons, which proved very useful as she can read very well now! But you have to attend the full course, from elementary to advanced, which takes about 2 years. I went to the Sembawang branch :)

Hi, I am Jeslyn and currently provides tutoring and cognitive training programs for children with rates that are definitely cheaper and more affordable. What differentiate me from others is that my tuition classes include cognitive activities. I also provide full intensive and structured cognitive training. Do visit https://www.facebook.com/brainmindsters to find out more =)
