Till today I had regrets asking my husband to bring his mother to Singapore.....
I met my husband when working in the same company..he is a Indian , I'm a chinese. When we got married, his mother was not inform as my hubby knows that his mother will never agree....therefore he only inform her after we got married....They had a big fight...after a year, my 1st BB was born inform her then she said will come and visit....but never...2nd BB born again said want to come but never...then she still claim she loves my BBs to her relatives... Then 5 years later she finally arrive in Singapore with my brother-in-law whom had found a job in Singapore. On the 1st day I brought her to visit my mother....she was showing to everyone that she is unhappy with us getting married without informin her and expect me to touch her feet!!! Luckly for me, my mother knows that I will never do that therefore she just ask us to serve my mother-in-law tea can already...
I had always try my best to be nice to her but she loves to shoe ppl her bloodly black face... Worse...on my no.3 1st month...she was showing her black face to all my relatives when they try to carry the BB....my mother told me only after the event...can u think how mad was I...when no.4 1st month, I did not allowed her to near BB alone.
After she came to Singapore, we had let her stay in my new house with my brother-law as we are staying with my mother as my mother is helping me taking care of my BBs when we are at work...and guess what...she had turn my new house with dirt and dust as she never sweep or mop!!!! You must be thinking what is she doing that she had no time.....Well she is watching TV the whole day!!!! It was my husband who cleans the house whenever he visit her....
Nevermind all that, when I rent out a room ....she will keep complaining that the guy never clean the room...never keep the toilet....hello...at least the guy will do it on every Sunday, what about her?
2 years ago, I had try to employ a maid to help my mother but it did not turn out well therefore we had get my MIL to come and help to bring my 2 kids to school and look after no.3...Guess what? She will always be sick. if not she will on the air-con in my mother house to watch TV the whole day and wait for the time to bring my kids home then will want to go home....Reason: Go back and wash clothes, cook for my brother-in-law(30++ man)..I had regrets in so much caused u know what she tells my children?? Don't need to listen to mummy...just listen to daddy....OMG...that is when I started to hate her. No choice, as I don not want her to come my mother house again I had to employ a maid...no what?? She bring my maid into a air-con to chat and leave my mother with BB...by the way my mother is a disable person, she cant walk and she help me with 3 kids + cooking...My mother-in-law never help her in 1 single thing....and she dare to tell off my mother why never allow the maid to eat? Hello....my mother had cook and does she still need to serve??? Never mind...guess what she told my relatives that she paid for my house!!!! What a crap...That was when I had decided to quit my job and stay home...
So 2 years ago I moved back to my own house....When I come back, I wanted to cried as my whole house is so dirty....my cooking set which I had buy/redeem which I never use before need to change a new set....I had a hard time with my MIL...she try to control me at my own house. She had caused my hubby & I fight...guess what I fight back: I set rules in this house:
I never talk to her , if any issue I talk to my husband....and make noise.
At 1st, I help to clean her room but once she while cleaning her room...she throw her rubbish on the floor..thats it...I never turn up in her room anymore and I dont allowed my children in her room also...till now I had never see her clean before...I dont care, I make noise to my husband...he will do the cleaning...I had never see such a dirty person before....can sleep in a dusty and dirty room....
She likes to use the washing machine daily to wash 2 sets of clothes...and once she used it to wash 1 pc of jean only.....Now I only allow her to wash twice a week...
She is a totally control freak over my brother-in-law....can keep calling him the whole day, scared that he get lost or cheated....I pity him...
I had gone through a lot these 2 years, esp when I had no.4...I one person will do everything from cleaning (5 room flat) to taking care of my 4 BBs,...But now, I can tell u I set the rules...I will never allowed her to touch my house and my family...
By the why...she is born in the year of tiger...love money...but she never work a single day in her life....She can on TV from morning till night & never get out of the house...
hubby very good temper person , so he very chin chai plus maybe he ownself cant tahan his own mother ba .. his mom nags at him even more , wen she keep nagging until i bth , even she say don wake my hubby up let him sleep , i still wake him up so his mom can change target to nag
